The name Moor comes from the crest.
The word "Moor" traces directly from Morrison — Sid's grandfather's middle name. Researching that name led to Fairbairn's Crest, where the Morrison family crest was discovered to contain three faces of Moors. That crest became a personal symbol. That symbol became a company.
